Synopsis

A man, a mission, a bicycle.

Gianfranco is an innkeeper in Italy. During the lockdown, he used his cargo bike to make home deliveries and read Pope Francis' call to reform society which encouraged reconnecting and respecting the environment. Gianfranco decides to embark on a journey, like a modern pilgrim, and ride the Via Francigena to Rome. Along the 700 km bicycle trip, he will collect products from ecologically responsible cultivators – adding to the basket that will be delivered to the Pope.
